GIVE ME SUNSHINE

The sun shines and our governments make mistakes. What's new? Until recently, experts told us to stay indoors, safe from the dangerous rays of the sun. Skin cancer was the threat, so we kept our children inside.
Now they tell us sunlight is good for us. We absorb vitamin D from the sun and this prevents other forms of cancer and possibly rheumatoid arthritis, so we must go out and sunbathe for about ten minutes a day.
Sun protection is still essential, according to doctors, because skin cancer is a real threat but spends ten minutes in the sun before applying the sun cream.
